The Lebanon Valley College (LVC) Concert Choir, a 60-member ensemble conducted by Dr. Matthew Erpelding, will perform at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center Street, on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 PM. as part of its 82nd Annual Spring Tour. The theme for the 2018 LVC Concert Choir tour is “Welcome to the Family,” and includes music from around the world that celebrates the bonds of family that we forge with each other. The concert will feature guest performers from Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Fine Arts

The Lebanon Valley College Concert Choir is one of two auditioned mixed choral ensembles at LVC. The Choir has toured each year, primarily in the Northeast, since 1936. In addition, the choir has been heard on more than 30 national radio broadcasts over the years and holds standing invitations to appear at the National Cathedral, Washington, D.C., and the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, New York City. They have also appeared at the Lighting of the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C.

The concert is free admission and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected at the concert to benefit local charities. The performance is part of FPCB’s concert series that also includes the treble choristers of the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys on March 9 and Irish tenor Emmet Cahill on March 20.
